Hope In God

Fear Not!, this is what I keep hearing.
There are various theories about the origin of the COVID-19 virus about who or what to be blamed for its origin and widespread pandemic. While there is no denying the seriousness of its effect on mankind let us not spend our time and energy worrying about who or what is to be blamed. In the midst of this worldwide pandemic, we can find hope in this: we are confident that whatever the enemy intended for evil God will turn around for good in our lives because we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God and are the called according to His purpose. This is the promise and hope we have as we put our trust in God.

We may never know the true cause of this virus but we know a God who knows all things. If we put our trust in Him we will have hope of a better tomorrow no matter what the outcome may be. We are are not certain how this will shape our world once this virus has been eradicated but we have confidence in God knowing that He who has begun a good work in us will complete it till the end.

Brothers and sisters let us not look to place blame but to seek to know what the Lord can do in us during this time. He is revealing Himself to those who are looking for Him. As we approach the celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord, Yeshua (Jesus) the Anointed One we can rejoice knowing that He has conquered death, hell, and the grave and has given us power over them as well. So our hope is not without uncertainty but with resurrection power to bring to life every dead thing the has been lost during this time according to God’s will.

For those who are without the hope that is found in Yeshua, know that you too can experience resurrection power if you put your trust in Him. Today, if you hear Him calling, do not harden your heart but open it that you may experience freedom, love, and hope in what seems to be a dying world. God is faithful and just to forgive all sins if you ask for forgiveness and put your trust in Him. You can live in the midst of death with hope and confidence, and assurance without fear because God has promised never to leave those who put their trust in Him. There is no need for fear if you have hope in God.

The beauty of this season we are in right now is no matter what the outcome we, believers in Yeshua win. Revelation 12:10-11 declares: Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the Kingdom of our God, and the power of Christ have come, for the accuser of the brethren, who accused them before our God day and night has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony and they did not love their lives to the death. (NJKV)

Put your trust in Yeshua today and live fearlessly.

Shalom!
