From My Heart

As a writer, I desire to always add value to my reader’s life through my writing. I am thankful for everyone who has supported me over the years and recently, whether it’s buying a book, reading an article such as this one, or even a social media post. I know without your continued support, my writing and speaking are merely a collection of my thoughts. I want to say thank you for making my writing and voice a tool to educate, motivate, and encourage you.

Today I want to share with you something very dear to my heart. As a teenager, I struggled to fit in the crowd, (I still do now but I know why…LOL), I always felt like a loner. My desire to be different yet wanting to fit in caused internal conflicts I did not understand. Like most young adults, my biggest fear was not being good enough, even as a Christian. I have learned that my purpose had more to do with me not fitting in and little to do with not being good enough. God protected me from living a certain lifestyle during those years. Since then it has been my desire to teach youths and children their true identity, God’s masterpiece.

I am tired of seeing and hearing about young people being abused and committing suicide, struggling with substance abuse, and not knowing what to do with their lives. We need to teach young people not to define themselves by pop-culture because it will cause them to live a yoyo lifestyle. Instead, they should be taught that their worth has been etched in their DNA from conception.

My mission is to educate our young people about their true identity and inviting you to partner with me on this mission.
